"I love you"

Most of you that follow these random babblings of mine have probably realized somewhere that my little brother and I are pretty close, and that we are. Tonight I was talking to him on Facebook and out of nowhere he wrote and said "I love you." That melted my heart. It made my day...at like 12:45 in the morning, but I get to go to bed tonight knowing that he really does love me, and even though we fight, argue and all those other sibling things he knows at any moment I will always be there.

Over the last 5 months I have watched my little brother...the hockey star, football player, racecar fan turn into something that not everyone can turn into at 19 and that is "daddy." Many people have asked why I am so supportive..knowing I go to the Christian collge and am active in a church. I am supportive because I know if the table was turned and I was standing in this almost mommy situation he would be there and he would not turn his back. He knws I have made mistakes, and he knows that everything I have done I have learned from it, but he has NEVER turned his back, and he knows that I will always be there for him.

Sure I am maybe too supportive, but he is my brother and I love him....hes my best friend.
